Sayyid Muhammad-`Ali ibn ar-Rida «1»
جلد ۲ صحیفه امام خمینی (ره)، صفحه ۶۷
In His Most Exalted Name
Shawwal 8,1385 AH
I do acknowledge with gratitude the receipt of your telegram of congratulations on the occasion of the auspicious `Id al-Fitr. I hope God will make Islamic and religious holidays auspicious for Muslims. Our festival begins at a time that Muslims get rid of their present problems and the glory of Islam and the Muslims returns. I beseech God, the Exalted, for such a day. Since there is more probability of the receipt of letters, I did not send a telegraphic reply as they don't usually deliver. I pray to God, the Exalted, for you to be granted success and assistance. May God's peace and mercy be upon you.
